Volunteer Coaches Needed

As we are sure you can imagine, organizing and pulling a season together could not happen without the dedicated members of FC Pocono's all volunteer staff.  We do what we do for the love of the game!  That said we can always use more help.  We are looking for coaches and assistant coaches, with or without experience.  We can say that because we provide support and training to all of our coaches, including the pursuit of a US Soccer Grassroots License for those coaches interested.  Please email Rigo Gomez for more information, anako0327@gmail.com.

Brief Program Decription:

The Club's intramural program focuses on developing core soccer skills, building endurance and enhancing social skills. The Club currently offers programs for school-aged children 6 to 13. Our programs increase the opportunity to play intramural soccer within the appropriate age group. All games are local, intra-club, and do not require travel. We utilize trained and paid referees to help children learn and reinforce the rules of the game.

For our coaches we offer ongoing age-specific training, instructional clinics and financial support for recognized state and national coach's certification courses. Our goal is to provide a bridge for those players and coaches wishing to pursue soccer at the next level (e.g. travel soccer). Teams practice twice a week in the pre-season.  Practices are held during the week and games will be on Saturday mornings based on the coaching schedule.

Team Sponsorships

We have team sponsorships available for businesses or friends & family of the team. For $300, your organization’s name will be printed on the back of each player’s jersey for 2 seasons. Your company’s name will also be listed on our club website and recognized as a sponsor on our Facebook and Instagram sites. Click here to become a sponsor today!

If you have any additional questions please contact Intramural Director Rigo Gomez (anako0327@gmail.com).
